METAHOME Privacy Policy
METAHOME (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") values your personal information and complies with the "Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection."
Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs you of the purposes and methods by which your personal information is being used and what measures are being taken to protect personal information.
When the Company revises this Privacy Policy, it will be announced through website notices (or individual notices).

(3) Retention and Use Period of Personal Information
In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay after the purposes of collection and use have been achieved.
However, if retention is required by relevant laws, the Company retains member information for the period specified by such laws as follows:
- 1. Items Retained: Name, Login ID, Password, Mobile Phone Number, Email, Access Logs, Cookies, Access IP Information, Payment Records
- 2. Legal Basis for Retention: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.
- 3. Retention Period: Upon membership withdrawal
- - Records on payment and supply of goods: 5 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
- - Records on consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)
(4) Procedures and Methods for Destroying Personal Information
In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay after the purposes of collection and use have been achieved. The destruction procedures and methods are as follows:
- 1. Destruction Procedure - Information entered by members for membership registration is transferred to a separate database (or separate filing cabinet for paper documents) after the purpose has been achieved and is destroyed after being stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other relevant laws for information protection purposes (see retention and use period). Personal information transferred to a separate database is not used for any other purpose than retention unless required by law.
- 2. Destruction Method - Personal information stored in electronic file format is deleted using technical methods that make the records impossible to reproduce.
(5) Provision of Personal Information
The Company does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to external parties. However, the following cases are exceptions:
- 1. When users have given prior consent
- 2. When required by law or when there is a request from investigative agencies according to procedures and methods prescribed by law for investigation purposes
(6) Operation and Use of Cookies
Cookies are small pieces of information that a website transmits to the user's computer browser (such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.) to store basic preference information about the website providing services to individual users.

(8) Rights of Users and Legal Representatives and How to Exercise Them
Users and legal representatives may view or modify their own or their minor child's (under 19 years of age) registered personal information at any time and may request cancellation of registration.
To view or modify personal information of users or minors under 19, click "Change Personal Information" (or "Edit Member Information") for modification, or "Withdraw Membership" for cancellation (withdrawal of consent), and you can directly view, correct, or withdraw after going through the identity verification process.
Alternatively, if you contact the Personal Information Manager by mail, telephone, or email, we will take action without delay.
If you request correction of errors in your personal information, we will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction is completed. Additionally, if incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, we will notify the third party of the correction results without delay so that the correction can be made.
Personal information terminated or deleted at the request of the user or legal representative is processed in accordance with the "Retention and Use Period of Personal Information Collected by the Company" and is processed so that it cannot be viewed or used for any other purpose.
(9) Withdrawal of Consent for Collection, Use, and Provision of Personal Information (Membership Withdrawal)
Members may withdraw their consent to the collection, use, and provision of personal information provided during membership registration at any time.
Consent withdrawal can be done at any time after logging into our site by going to "Member Information → Edit/Withdraw Member Information → Withdraw Membership." If you contact the personal information complaint handler by mail, telephone, or email, we will promptly take necessary measures such as deletion of personal information.
However, Member IDs are necessary information to prevent confusion in service use, fulfill the obligation to retain member transaction information for the period specified by law, and provide other stable services, so re-registration with the same ID after withdrawal is not permitted.
(10) Personal Information Complaint Services
The Company designates the following department and Personal Information Manager to protect customer personal information and handle complaints related to personal information.
